 NICOLE BECK Nicole Beck has completed many large-scale public sculpture commissions and is exhibited nationwide. She has a holistic approach to art and science, distilling the beauty & rhythm of the dynamic systems found in nature. Nicole holds an MFA in painting & drawing but moved into sculpture with one-person gallery shows, then creating public installations at venues like Art Chicago and PierWalk, and most recently including The Artist Project and Lincoln Park. Commissions include works for DeVry, ESPN Zone, WestTown Chamber and the Elgin Police Station. Beck's mural is an enlarged graphic of the garden plan made for Chicago's "Art in the Gardens" exhibition, creating a 40'x 100' Celtic knot garden in Grant Park with 64 plant varieties and a snaking gourd arbor. www.sculpture.org www.nicolebeck.com |

LUCAS MYERS Lucas Myers creates incredibly complex mixed media work, often with a strong landscape sensibility, through extensive layering. He lives and works in Chicago, where he has created numerous murals, commissioned works, and commercial art projects and has participated in exhibitions and fairs in Illinois, Ohio, Florida and California. Myers grew up in rural Southwest Ohio and received a BFA in Fine Arts from the Columbus College of Art and Design in Columbus, OH in 1998. www.lucasmyers.com |
