LAYNE JACKSON
Layne Jackson is a painter, teacher, musician, and avid social organizer. Jackson’s work is narrative, edited, recreated and abstracted from snapshots, using oil, acrylic with mixed media on paper and canvas. Her work has garnered numerous teaching, painting and public art commissions, residency at Ox-Bow, and features in Chicago Magazine, Tribune, Sun-Times and Reader. Jackson participates in solo and group shows with a political bent in both galleries and alternative spaces. Born in Texas, Jackson lived in Toronto, Canada and Paris, France before settling in Chicago in 1997.

STEFANI COLE
Stefani Cole works in photography as well as drawing and painting, with a bent toward environmental and figurative themes in all media. Her work has been exhibited in juried shows in Illinois, Michigan and Missouri. She has volunteered as an art teacher for the Union League Boys and Girls Club of Chicago and currently serves as an Artist Coordinator for Art Therapy Connection Annual Chalk Festival. Cole, who received an AS from Delta College in 1998 and a BFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2000, now lives and works in Chicago.
